We are seeking an experienced Master Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in advanced automotive repairs, diagnostics, and complete vehicle rebuilds. This person must be capable of handling complex jobs with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality work, and maintaining strong professionalism in a busy shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engine swaps, engine rebuilds, and major engine repairs.
- Complete timing belt/chain replacements and all related components.
- Conduct advanced electrical diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of wiring, sensors, modules, and electrical systems.
- Perform transmission rebuilds, transmission swaps, and drivetrain repairs.
- Diagnose and repair check engine lights, misfires, drivability issues, and advanced mechanical concerns.
- Handle HVAC repairs, suspension work, steering systems, and brake system diagnostics.
- Perform complete vehicle inspections and provide detailed recommendations to service writers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist in training junior technicians when needed.
- Follow company processes, safety guidelines, and maintain high repair quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5 years of proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Master Mechanic.
- Strong expertise in engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues efficiently and accurately.
- Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools, scanners, and equipment.
- ASE Certifications (Master Technician preferred).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a strong team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain professional work ethics.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with both domestic and imported vehicles.
- Familiarity with shop management systems (AutoLeap, Mitchell, Alldata, etc.).
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle high-volume workflow and prioritize tasks.
Pay: From $1,200.00 per week
