What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant position at Express Life Chiropractic?
About Us
We are a chiropractic office led by two chiropractors who are passionate about helping people live healthier, happier lives. We believe that an exceptional patient experience starts with a team that genuinely cares, communicates well, and works together to keep the office running smoothly.
We are looking for a dependable, positive, and detail-oriented team member who enjoys working with people, learning new skills, and being part of a team that continually strives to improve.
The Role
As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming patient experience and supporting the daily flow of our office. You don't need to know everything when you start. We will train you. What matters most is your character, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and desire to contribute to a great team.
For the right person, there will also be opportunities to take initiative, help improve office processes, and grow into additional responsibilities over time.
What You'll Do
Patient Care & Experience
- Welcome patients warmly and help them feel comfortable and cared for.
- Support smooth patient flow and help appointments run efficiently.
- Learn and confidently perform our established patient care workflows, including day-one visits and progress evaluations, as trained and authorized.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and teammates.
- Help create a consistent, positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
Daily Office Support
- Help keep the office organized, clean, stocked, and ready for patients.
- Complete daily tasks accurately and consistently.
- Assist with scheduling, administrative duties, documentation, and other office responsibilities as assigned.
- Learn multiple areas of the office so you can provide support where it's needed.
- Follow established systems and ask questions when you need clarification.
Teamwork & Initiative
- Be a dependable teammate who follows through on commitments.
- Recognize what needs attention and take initiative when appropriate.
- Communicate when something needs to be addressed rather than assuming someone else will handle it.
- Offer ideas for improving the patient experience or making daily processes more efficient.
- Be open to feedback, training, and continued personal and professional growth.
What You'll Be Doing
A typical day might include:
- Opening the office (checking messages, prepping the space, organizing the schedule)
- Morning huddle with the doctors to go over the day's appointments
- Greeting patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answering phones and texts
- Collecting payments
- Going one on one in rooms with patients to listen to their story and help them take action steps into their health by care at the office
- Closing down the office and prepping for the next day
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
You may be a great fit if you are someone who:
- Genuinely enjoys helping people and connecting with patients, from babies to seniors.
- Is friendly, professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Learns quickly and enjoys becoming confident in new skills.
- Takes pride in doing things well, even when the tasks are routine.
- Can stay organized and adapt when the day doesn't go exactly as planned.
- Communicates openly and works well with a team.
- Is willing to take initiative instead of always waiting to be told what to do.
- Enjoys finding solutions and making things work better.
- Wants to keep growing and becoming more capable over time.
Previous chiropractic experience is helpful but not required. We are happy to train someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Perks & Benefits
- Approximately 30 hours per week for full time
- Complimentary chiropractic care from our phenomenal doctors
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Natural health products at cost
- 3-day weekends every weekend
- A supportive, holistic work environment that values both your professional and personal well-being
- The opportunity to grow into additional responsibilities as your skills, interests, and strengths develop
