Express Heating & Air Conditioning Services is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team.

Our technicians earn $29–$40 per hour based on experience, PLUS 10% commission on parts sales.
We consider commission a bonus, not your primary source of income. Your job is to properly diagnose the customer’s system, explain the problem, make the appropriate repair, and take care of the customer.

Responsibilities
The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential HVAC systems
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical/service manuals
- Performing routine preventative maintenance
- Inspecting HVAC systems and identifying failed or worn components
- Accurately diagnosing problems before recommending repairs
- Clearly explaining system problems and repair options to customers
- Communicating professionally with customers, office staff, and dispatch
- Completing service documentation accurately
- Maintaining company tools, equipment, and service vehicle
- Providing professional, high-quality customer service
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should:
- Have previous HVAC service and repair experience
- Have strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Understand electrical and mechanical HVAC systems
- Be comfortable using meters, gauges, and diagnostic equipment
- Have good communication and customer-service skills
- Be dependable and able to work independently
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Have or be able to obtain EPA certification
