Position Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role requires adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and production schedules while minimizing downtime and waste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers to support production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the production process.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate more complex problems to maintenance or supervision.
• Complete production documentation, quality checks, and operational records accurately.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to achieve production goals.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and production equipment while following safety procedures.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing or production facility environment.
• May require rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays based on production needs.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
