Key Responsibilities
- Test and balance pool water chemistry including pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and other chemical levels
- Assist with safely handling, measuring, and applying pool chemicals
- Support technicians with pool cleaning, maintenance, and equipment inspections
- Load and unload supplies while keeping service vehicles organized and clean
- Assist customers in the retail store with product questions, purchases, and recommendations
- Stock shelves, maintain store cleanliness, and support daily retail operations
- Complete customer paperwork and explain pool treatment plans and products used
- Use computer software to input customer information, complete forms, and transfer information to paper documentation
- Troubleshoot pool issues and recommend solutions based on water conditions and customer concerns
- Calculate proper chemical measurements and conversions for pool treatments
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to solve problems and think critically
- Comfortable using calculators, measurements, and AI tools to assist with calculations
- Ability to lift supplies and work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Willingness to learn pool maintenance procedures and chemical handling
- Retail or pool service experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to do basic math and simple conversions
