Key Responsibilities
- Perform accounting duties of moderate complexity under general supervision
- Apply working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data
- Code documents according to general ledger account distribution
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Receiving to match invoices with documentation and ensure pricing/quantity accuracy
- Maintain accurate vendor invoice records
- Review accounts payable ledger and assist in timely processing of payments
- Enter and process invoices, prepare checks, and record disbursements
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks including billing and invoice processing
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end reporting
- Complete additional accounting-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
