This role focuses on maintaining, cleaning, and restoring school playgrounds to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for students. Responsibilities include using wire brushes, landscaping tools, and leaf blowers for cleaning, along with tasks like reinstalling grass and turf, striping parking lots, seal coating, and operating heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and clean school playgrounds, including surface restoration and debris removal.
- Use wire brushes, landscaping tools, and leaf blowers for cleaning tasks.
- Reinstall and repair grass and turf as needed.
- Perform parking lot striping and seal coating.
- Safely operate and maintain heavy equipment and power tools.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with both hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Experience with landscaping, groundskeeping, or equipment operation is preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with potential for overtime)
Compensation:
- $18 per hour or more, based on experience.
