Engineering Technician II
Location: Camas, WA
Full-Time, 7:00am-3:30pm
$26–$29 per hour
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician II to support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical skills who enjoys working on innovative products.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble, maintain, and upgrade prototypes (mechanical wiring soldering)
- Support builds using motors, sensors, pneumatics, and related systems
- Perform testing and accurately document results
- Troubleshoot issues with prototypes and assemblies
- Provide technical support to engineers
- Keep workspaces clean, safe, and organized
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s preferred)
- 2 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Team player with good communication skills
- Experience with GD&T, PLCs, or Visual Basic is a plus
Work Environment
- Lab/production setting (PPE required)
- May require standing for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Occasional travel may be required
