Trailer Final Integration Technician A day in this role

You start by opening the Proceed App to review the build sheet and customer options for the unit on your line. With parts staged and verified, you move methodically through final fit-out—routing wiring, mounting components, and triple-checking details so the trailer leaves the plant road-ready and looking its best.

What you’ll build

• Wire and connect complete harnesses
• Install and test LED lighting systems
• Mount tires and wheels to specification
• Fit ramps and retaining rails
• Install safety chains and couplers
• Apply decals and accessories with clean finish
• Integrate customer-specific options and unique components

How you’ll do it

• Follow step-by-step instructions and procedures using the Proceed App
• Verify specifications and customer-selected options before sign-off
• Complete production checklists accurately and record modifications, repairs, and progress

Quality ownership

• Inspect the completed product against internal quality standards
• Identify and correct defects before the trailer leaves the facility
• Coordinate with weld, paint, CAD, and leadership teams to resolve issues
• Own the final appearance and functionality of each product

Safety and workplace standards

• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Use PPE and safety equipment properly and consistently
• Contribute to a positive, safety-minded culture

Tools and troubleshooting

• Operate hand tools, power tools, air tools, and shop equipment safely
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on tools as needed
• Report damaged or unsafe equipment promptly

Teaming and flow

• Work closely with welders, painters, shipping personnel, and leadership
• Assist teammates during high-demand production periods to meet deadlines
• Offer feedback and ideas for continuous improvement

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Background in manufacturing, assembly, trailer, automotive, or welding is beneficial
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout the workday
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Work environment

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to power tools, machinery, welding, dust, and varying temperatures
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and movement throughout the shift
• PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection required
