Pay: $26-$38/hour 10% shift premium
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Hours: Average 50-55 hours per week with overtime and occasional weekends
We're hiring experienced TIG Welders for direct-hire opportunities with a growing aerospace manufacturer in Lake Orion.

What You'll Do- Perform primarily TIG welding on steel, aluminum and Invar components
- Set up welding equipment based on job specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Weld and fabricate components, fixtures, jigs, gauges and tooling
- Inspect your work for quality and consistency
- Repair or revise welded components as needed
- Work closely with other team members to meet production and quality requirements
- Previous TIG welding experience
- Experience welding steel and/or aluminum
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Ability to use basic measuring tools including calipers and tape measures
- Strong attention to weld quality and appearance
- Comfortable working overtime and occasional weekends as needed
- Aerospace welding experience is a plus, but not required
- Welding certifications are not required
Candidates will complete a hands-on weld test as part of the interview process.
Compensation & Benefits- $26-$38/hour based on experience and weld test results
- Additional 10% premium for 2nd shift
