We’re looking for a cross-trained team member to support both machine feeding and end-of-line packing for clamshell and fry cartons. This is a steady overnight opportunity: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM–4:00 AM.
Key Duties Feeding (Machine Supply)- Supply at least four machines with paper blanks; lift, pre-break, and load into feed hoppers.
- Be capable of feeding and maintaining six formers concurrently.
- Strip plastic from incoming loads; remove tickets and deliver them to the operator.
- Monitor quality at the hopper: keep cartons straight, clear loose scrap, and sort when directed by the operator.
- Manage R.S.C. stock and deliver R.S.C.’s to case packers to support production flow.
- Maintain strong housekeeping practices.
- Comply with all safety rules, including GMP’s, PPE’s, and HACCP & JSA regulations.
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
- Catch and manage six lanes; pull from forming chutes at the count mark.
- Execute basic QC: remove nonconforming product and replace with good units.
- Confirm proper gluing and correct counts per sleeve; fill out quality check-off sheets.
- Once checks are done, position product and place into a bag; then place sleeve into bag, bag into case, and move case to the conveyor.
- Assist with glue tip cleaning; cover co-workers for breaks and lunch.
- Help with labeling and repacking boxes; keep the area organized and clean.
- Form and label boxes; top off glue containers for machines; perform end-of-shift cleanup.
- Uphold good housekeeping.
- Follow GMP’s, PPE’s, and HACCP & JSA regulations.
- Carry out additional duties as required; check with operators or a supervisor for further needs.
- Stay organized while handling multiple machines or lanes.
- Focus on accuracy—counts, glue integrity, and documentation.
- Own safety and cleanliness standards.
