Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform picking and packing of products and materials.
- Use an RF scanner to scan, track, and locate inventory.
- Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials.
- Prepare orders for shipment and ensure products are accurately picked and packed.
- Move pallets and materials to designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and follow warehouse procedures.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and forklift operating procedures.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts preferred/required.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse scanning systems.
- Previous picking and packing experience.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Ability to climb on/off forklifts and work around warehouse equipment.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and safely handle materials.
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
