Inventory Control Specialist

Work onsite with a leading client in Newark, DE, where your precision powers smooth warehouse operations. You’ll keep counts accurate, uncover discrepancies fast, and help the team stay ahead of demand. This is a day-shift schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.

• Start with quick system checks and review any overnight inventory updates.
• Walk the floor to validate counts, perform cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
• Receive, stage, and store inbound product; document movements in the inventory system.
• Distribute materials to the right locations and keep storage areas tidy and safe.
• Flag and report discrepancies immediately, then partner with teammates to resolve root causes.
• Capture every movement in inventory software to maintain real-time accuracy.

• Drive inventory accuracy through audits and disciplined documentation.
• Improve throughput by collaborating on better processes and workflows.
• Uphold a clean, organized, and safety-first environment.

• Inventory management software and basic computer skills for data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Teamwork and the ability to work independently when needed.
• Capability to lift and handle heavier items as part of warehouse operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (logistics or supply chain coursework is a plus).
• Hands-on experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Accuracy-focused mindset and reliable follow-through.

A clean fingerprint criminal background clearance is required.
