Partnering with our client, you will put your technical training, hands-on experience, and problem-solving mindset to work diagnosing, repairing, and preventing issues across today’s complex vehicles. From electrical faults to suspension alignments, you’ll be the steady hand that keeps cars road-ready.
What you’ll tackle- Support fellow technicians by pitching in on technical tasks and collaborative repair work.
- Diagnose and repair to spec across multiple systems: brakes and hydraulics, exhaust, fuel and ignition (basic through advanced), electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and vehicle computer systems.
- Translate complex findings into plain language for teammates and customers, clearly outlining needed repairs.
- Stay current through formal training sessions and continuous learning as automotive technology evolves.
- Execute preventive maintenance and repairs efficiently while adhering to company standards.
- Complete used-vehicle inspection checklists, identifying required work and providing time and cost estimates.
- At least 2 years of professional experience as an automotive mechanic/technician.
- A current, valid driver’s license.
- Team-oriented, adaptable approach with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Hands-on familiarity with shop equipment: wheel and tire machinery, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, and A/C service equipment.
- ASE certifications are welcomed but not required.
- Delaware State Inspection and Emissions Licenses are a plus.
