Machinist – Entry-Level to Senior
Pay: $20–$24/HR, based on experience
Location: Wallingford, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
We are hiring machinists at all experience levels, from entry-level candidates interested in learning the trade to experienced machinists who can set up and operate a variety of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various machinery, including turning centers, machining centers, saws, threading machines, heading machines, and manual equipment.
- Learn and understand machine operations and capabilities.
- Run multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously.
- Perform accurate product inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety procedures and participate in required training.
- Assist other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; training is provided.
- Prior machining or related experience is a plus.
- Ability to read measurements, perform basic math, and follow instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift and handle materials weighing 25–50 lbs, with some items up to 100 lbs.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a required drug screening.
