Fork Reach Truck Operator - 2nd shift
Location: Wallingford, CT
Job Type: Full-time, 2nd shift
Shift: Sunday, 1 pm until finished; Monday - Thursday, 5 pm to finished
Pay Rate: $18-22/hr
We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Fork Reach Truck Operators to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to handle materials and products
- Load and unload goods from trucks or containers
- Move stock to designated areas within the warehouse
- Ensure accuracy of inventory and report any discrepancies
- Follow all health and safety procedures on-site
- Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or similar environment
- Good knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts when needed
