MIG Welder Opportunities – Multiple Openings Available!
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for several MIG Welder positions with multiple manufacturing partners throughout the East Madison area. We are working with a variety of companies and have opportunities available for welders with different levels of experience. Schedule: Varies by company, typically Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
Pay: $21–$26 /hour, depending on experience and position
Key Responsibilities- Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials and material thicknesses
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding specifications
- Measure and fabricate parts while maintaining close tolerances
- Perform grinding, deburring, and metal finishing as needed
- Safely operate overhead cranes and other shop equipment
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Experience with hand tools, grinders, and metal finishing equipment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Must have personal welding gear available to complete a weld test
