Your Day at a Glance- Start smart: Perform pre-shift checks and routine inspections on sit-down and stand-up forklifts to ensure everything runs safely and smoothly.
- Keep product moving: Use forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and stage goods with precision.
- Turn trucks fast: Load and unload trailers, safeguarding product accuracy and condition from dock to rack.
- Own the space: Maintain an orderly, debris-free work area and follow safety protocols at every step.
- Sync with the team: Coordinate with coworkers to optimize workflow and hit production targets.
- Track the flow: Document inventory movements and help with inventory control so counts stay accurate.
- Speak up early: Report equipment issues or safety concerns to your supervisor right away.
- Valid forklift operator certification (sit-down and stand-up).
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial environment.
