As our Industrial Machinery Maintenance Mechanic in Libby, MT, you’ll keep production moving by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment with precision and care. You’ll interpret technical drawings, coordinate with other trades, and leave a paper trail of accurate maintenance records that help the whole team succeed.
What You’ll Do- Install, service, and repair machinery and equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine inspections to spot issues early and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Collaborate closely with electricians, operators, and other crafts to keep operations seamless.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute work.
- Operate forklifts and use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow site safety procedures and best practices every time.
- Document maintenance and repair activities with accuracy and clarity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
- Hands-on experience as a Millwright or in a closely related maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting ability.
- Comfort working independently and within a team environment.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
- Clear communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime when needed.
