As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic placed by Express Employment Professionals, you’ll support a major industrial client with reliable hours, strong wages, and steady overtime—doing hands-on work that powers essential U.S. industries.
Your Day- Begin each shift with required safety inspections and hazard mitigation.
- Keep plant equipment running by maintaining and repairing pumps, motors, mills, piping, conveyors, and related systems.
- Install bearings; rebuild gearboxes, compressors, and other heavy machinery.
- Perform precision shaft and component alignments using precision measuring tools.
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair lubrication systems.
- Operate mobile equipment safely following MSHA-approved training.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.
- Hands-on experience with conveyors, pumps, compressors, fans, and general industrial mechanical systems.
- ARC welding skills for repair and fabrication tasks.
- Mechanical aptitude, solid troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to safety.
- Dependable attendance; able to work independently while following instructions.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and thriving in a physically demanding environment.
- 2 years of industrial experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preventive maintenance planning
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Industrial electrical exposure/experience
- Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance
- Diesel and heavy equipment systems
- Heavy-equipment electrical systems and diagnostics
- Mechanical systems and component rebuilds
- DOT and equipment inspection compliance
