Step into a day building the waterfront
Sun up, truck doors open, gear checked. You and the crew roll out to the shoreline to assemble and take down a range of dock systems. One site might call for aluminum pipe sections, the next a floating platform, and another a tower-style configuration. You set each system securely, then fine-tune the height and alignment so everything is level, true, and ready for use.
What you do- Install and remove diverse dock systems, including aluminum pipe docks, floating docks, and tower docks
- Set up boat lifts and lay out marine rail systems for smooth vessel access
- Adjust dock elevations and alignment on site to meet changing water and site conditions
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely from trucks and trailers
- Operate hand and power tools rills, winches, and chainsaws to build, position, and secure components
- Keep trucks, trailers, job sites, and the shop clean and organized throughout the workday
- Handle basic equipment care: lubricate, clean, and inspect tools to keep them job-ready
You take pride in neat, orderly staging of materials and you double-check alignments before calling a job done. You keep tools serviced and ready, and you communicate clearly with teammates to move projects forward efficiently.
