Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Machine Operators for a textile and manufacturing environment. This role involves operating dyeing and production equipment, monitoring product quality, and supporting daily manufacturing operations.

We are seeking dependable candidates who are comfortable working with machinery, following production procedures, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Manufacturing or machine operating experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting beam fabric onto dye beams for production and dyeing processes.
• Mixing dyes according to instructions and lab procedures.
• Preparing and loading dye vats for production runs.
• Monitoring and ensuring proper shade and color matching.
• Unloading dyed beams and transporting materials to designated areas.
• Operating production equipment including:
• • Dye vats
  • Dye jigs
  • De-twisters
  • Sewing machines
  • Beamers / De-beamers
  • Turning stations
  • Monorail systems
• Sewing fabric lots together as needed during production.
• Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitoring machinery and reporting production issues or defects.
• Completing production paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Following all company safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Prior manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Skills & Qualifications

• Machine operation and production experience.
• Textile or dyeing experience preferred.
• Quality inspection and documentation skills.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor production issues.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Shifts & Hours

1st Shift

• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Full-Time
• Overtime may be available based on production needs

2nd Shift

• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Full-Time
• Overtime may be available based on production needs

3rd Shift

• 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Full-Time
• Overtime may be available based on production needs

Pay & Benefits

• $17.00 – $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
