A well-established luxury construction and development company is seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work in a beautiful, professional environment while supporting multiple entities and high-volume accounting operations.
What You'll Do- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions
- Print, scan, label, and maintain invoice documentation
- Open and process incoming mail and vendor invoices
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9s, Certificates of Insurance, Workers' Compensation documentation, and subcontract agreements
- Verify invoices are coded accurately to jobs and cost codes
- Enter and post invoices into QuickBooks across multiple entities
- Create and manage Purchase Orders based on approved quotes
- Obtain invoice and payment approvals
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
- Process company credit card charges and payments
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines
- Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion
- Minimum of 1-2 years of construction industry accounting experience required
