Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Ensure accurate AP coding, approvals, and timely payments
- Maintain and reconcile AR schedules; support billing & collections
- Assist with ACH/wire standardization and provide AP coverage
- Prepare/post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, amortizations)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Support month-end reporting and variance analysis
- Maintain fixed asset subledger
- Record additions/disposals and monthly depreciation
- Support capital project and CIP tracking
- Serve as backup for payroll processing
- Cross-train with Accounting Assistant for continuity
- Prepare schedules for audits and tax filings
- Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
- Assist with close, reporting, SOP development, and projects
- Help monitor work outputs for accuracy and timeliness
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency with accounting software (Sage 300/Intacct or similar)
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office 365 skills
- Knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and audit prep
- Strong communication and organizational skills
