What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Specialist position at Express Employment Professionals - Durham, NC / RTP?
• Perform logistics management functions associated with the procurement, storage, sustainment, inventory accounting, and transport of department assets to support Agency and workforce requirements.
• Ensure copier/printer areas, healthy workplace stations, and all supply areas are sustained and stocked daily.
• Request and receive supplies. Order replacement when minimum stock levels are reached. Restock inventory within 24 hours of receipt.
• Maintain accurate inventory of supplies.
• Ensure storage and conference rooms are maintained and organized.
• Monitor and complete Facility Service Requests. Submit work orders to General Services for their work areas.
• Monitor recycling and shred container areas. Notify General Services if recycling pick-up is needed.
• Provide onsite support to shred vendor bi-weekly to empty shred containers throughout DSS areas.
• Manage printer/copier toner cartridge recycling program through mail process.
• Review and update procedures and processes as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
