Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable candidates for a Maintenance position with a Local Aluminum foundry in Dickson. This position will pay $35 / hr., and the hours are Monday & Tuesday from 7AM-7PM and Friday & Saturday from 7:00AM-7:00PM..
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of all equipment and machinery
- Conduct inspections, testing, and adjustments of plant systems, equipment, and machinery
- Preventative maintenance and repairs of buildings, grounds, equipment, and machinery
- Promptly respond to all safety and emergency calls and perform all tasks requested by the supervisor, superintendent, or other management personnel
- Adhere to lockout and tag procedures, prioritizing safety at all times.
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Has High School Diploma or GED
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Able to read hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic schematics, and ladder diagrams
- Able to weld and build sand pipe (Mig, Tig, Stick)
- Able to modify basic PLC programming
- Able to operate Forklift, Scissor Lift and JLG Lift
- Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment
- Capable of physical movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Closed toed shoes/boots, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Hearing Protection
