Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Die Setter position with an Established Local Manufacturing Company. This position will pay between $17 - $25 per hour based on experience. The schedule is 1st Shift and available to work 2nd Shift when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Install, adjust, maintain dies in Press machines
- Setup machines, perform test runs, troubleshoot and conduct minor maintenance
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must have experience reading blueprints and measuring tools (calipers and micrometers)
- Technical school preferred but not required
- Able to work 1st Shift and be available for 2nd Shift when needed
- Capable of working in a non-temperature-controlled environment as well as a very hot/dirty environment
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel-toed shoes/boots and Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear
- Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines
