Cloud Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

The Cloud Developer designs, develops, and maintains scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Will work closely with Cloud Solution Architect, Security, and Application teams to build and optimize solutions on platforms like Azure, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Oracle Cloud

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures

· Build and maintain cloud solutions that support the business using Azure, Microsoft 365, and Oracle Fusion.

· Ensures IT risks (including security, privacy, compliance, business continuity, etc.) are identified, documented, and appropriately managed.

· Reviews progress on solutions, goals, milestones, metrics and project plans on a regular basis with the solution team and manager.

· Accepts feedback and supports team members to further their efforts.

· Provides necessary projects, system, and technical documentation in a timely manner.

· Work closely with team members in designing enterprise class solutions based on the principles of redundancy, security, and recoverability.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· 3 years of experience in cloud application development.

· Proficiency with the following programming languages/frameworks: JavaScript, React.js, SharePoint Framework

· Proficiency delivering with Azure Logic Apps & Azure Web Apps

· Familiarity with the following is preferred but not required, PowerShell, Azure functions, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud

· Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills

· Strong interpersonal communication and relational skills; good organizational and project management skills; sound judgment; initiative; flexibility; detail-oriented

· Ability to adapt and learn new concepts and technologies

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience

· 3 - 5 years of experience in cloud application development.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

· Prolong sitting in stationary position up to 8 hours per day

· Complete repetitive movements

· Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

· Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable

· Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out

· Lift/move/transport items up to 10 pounds

· Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

· Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
