Sales Support Specialist - $22-$25/hr

Location: Farmers Branch, TX
Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

We're hiring a Sales Support Specialist who can do much more than answer phones and enter orders!

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys solving problems. This position supports multiple sales representatives, manages customer accounts, coordinates orders, and works closely with purchasing, warehouse, and other departments to keep everything running smoothly.

Our client is an established distribution company looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, catches mistakes before they become problems, and follows through until the job is done.

What You'll Do

• Support multiple sales representatives and manage their customer accounts.
• Enter and process customer orders, quotes, returns, and special orders.
• Review orders for pricing accuracy, profit margins, contract pricing, and product availability.
• Research and resolve order discrepancies, backorders, pricing issues, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and customer service teams.
• Maintain customer accounts, pricing agreements, rebate contracts, and account information.
• Track orders, prepare Excel reports, and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Monitor order errors and proactively identify and resolve problems.
• Communicate with customers and sales representatives by phone and email.

What We're Looking For

• 2 years of experience in sales support, order management, inside sales, account management, distribution, or a related administrative role.
• Strong Excel skills and computer proficiency — must be comfortable working with data and navigating multiple systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly with numbers, pricing, and order accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical thinking and proven problem-solving abilities.
• Experience researching discrepancies and following issues through to resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and support multiple departments.
• Experience with ERP systems, purchasing, inventory, or distribution is a plus.
• A dependable, accountable person who learns quickly and takes pride in getting things right.
