Job Overview
Express Employment is hiring full-time Machine Operators to work at a client site dealing with lumber in their manufacturing and saw operations. These positions are part of the company’s production/warehouse team, where you will operate machinery, assemble products, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate power saws, air nail guns, staplers, and other woodworking tools to prepare and assemble door components
- Maintain and troubleshoot assembly line equipment in the warehouse
- Load, unload, store, and package production materials as needed
- Monitor quality assurance throughout the production process
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Perform forklift training, certification, and operation for material handling.
- Communicate delays, discrepancies, or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and follow simple instructions and written correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out one- or two-step tasks with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds periodically
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
