A company in Carrollton has an opening for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator. These candidates must be familiar with operating and controlling an overhead crane and sit down forklift in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Using manual controls to control the movement, lifting 30 tons or more and positioning of loads using an overhead crane
- Observing and making sure the load is safely attached and within lifting limits during operation of a crane
- Keeping the crane clean and well maintained
- Using barrier signs around the crane to prevent anyone from walking under loads
Requirements:
- Must have experience using an Overhead crane
- Must be able to move 15,000 lbs using overhead crane
- Must have sit down forklift experience
- Must have great attention to detail
- Must be available for 12 hour shifts
- Knowledge of Julian dates is a plus
Schedule: 2nd Shift
Pay: $18/ Hour (depending on experience)
