A company in Carrollton GA is seeking an experienced Field Technician to join our team. Candidates must have prior experience as a Field technician or in closely related technical role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist customers in fulfilling service needs
- Servicing of customers fire extinguishers including annual maintenance, recharging or repair and hydrostatic testing
- Servicing of customers Emergency and Exit lights to including required maintenance or repair
- Advise customer on fire protection equipment and techniques, as well as fire code standards and interpretation and compliance
- Perform site surveys to educate customers of required related fire protection equipment - Monitor and report issues with operation of company vehicle
- Monitor and maintain proper working order of recharge equipment used on company service vehicle
- Understand product capabilities, warranties, product usages, and challenges, to further educate and serve external customers
- Responsible for notifying direct supervisor of any equipment break down or malfunction or any unsafe working conditions
- Responsible for complying and enforcing safety requirements while on company property and at customer’s site
- Perform other related duties as assigned and as necessary depending on the situation and location
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Strong customer service orientation – both external and internal
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
- Time management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, hectic work environment - Excellent driving record
Schedule: 1st Shift
