Description:
Express Employment Professionals Bluffton SC is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse and distribution operations for a global manufacturer and wholesale distributor of aftermarket imaging supplies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
- Evaluate and implement security procedures and protocols to safeguard warehouse operations and contents
- Control inventory levels through regular physical counts and system reconciliation
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
- Supervise warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as needed
- Schedule and assign employees to meet warehouse operational requirements
- Support all warehouse areas including forklift operation as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a large Warehouse Manager
- Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping software
- Able to hire, train, discipline, and manage employees
- Proven warehouse management expertise and knowledge of best practices
- Expertise in implementing process improvement initiatives
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Inventory control and leadership skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual English and Mandarin preferred
