Medical Biller

We are seeking a Medical Biller to join our team in Ypsilanti. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes for medical procedures and services, ensuring accurate payments, and maintaining up-to-date patient records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculate and collect payments for medical procedures and services.
• Update and maintain patient data and billing records.
• Develop and manage payment plans for patients as needed.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding billing.
• Process refunds and adjustments as required.
• Resolve insurance denials and process claims efficiently.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in medical billing or healthcare administration preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
• Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Schedule:

• Full-time, in-office position with alot of growth opportunity
• $17-$18.50/hr!
