The Operational Change Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving successful enterprise and departmental transformations at Express Employment International (EEI). This position leads the people side of change; deeply understanding impacts, actively engaging stakeholders, preparing leaders and employees, and accelerating adoption to ensure changes are not only implemented but fully embraced and sustained over time.
Working in close partnership with the Change Director, initiative leads, project teams, and business partners, the Operational Change Manager applies EEI’s proven Change Management methodology and toolkit to deliver intentional, well-coordinated change efforts that align with the organization’s strategy, culture, and franchise network.
This position sits within our Oklahoma City based corporate office, currently with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

Responsibilities
- Lead change management activities for enterprise-wide and departmental initiatives, ensuring the people side of change is effectively managed from planning through sustained adoption
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans that align with project timelines, business objectives, and EEI’s strategic priorities
- Conduct thorough change impact assessments across roles, processes, teams, and stakeholder groups to anticipate risks and inform strategy
- Identify key stakeholders and cultivate strong, trusting relationships to foster engagement and sponsorship throughout the change journey
- Partner closely with senior leaders and managers to strengthen change sponsorship, increase visible leadership commitment, and model desired behaviors
- Coach and equip leaders and people managers on their critical role in leading change, communicating effectively, and supporting their teams through transitions
- Design, develop, and coordinate change champion networks to amplify change messaging and drive grassroots adoption across the organization and franchise network
- Ensure consistency, alignment, and coordination of change approaches and messaging across multiple initiatives, departments, and the broader franchise network
- Leverage data, insights, and feedback to evaluate adoption progress, proactively adjust change strategies, and recommend actionable improvements
- Act as a thought leader by contributing to the continuous enhancement of EEI’s Change Management methodology, tools, templates, and best practices
- 3 years of progressive experience leading or supporting change management initiatives, projects, or organizational transformations
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a corporate or enterprise environment
- Experience partnering with leaders and managers to drive change adoption and manage resistance
- Familiarity with established change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, or similar) is strongly preferred
- Experience in training, communications, project management, organizational development, or operations is a plus
- Deep expertise in change management and organizational behavior
- Ability to assess impacts, identify risks, and evaluate effects across people, processes, and operations
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable messaging
- Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing multiple initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail and execution focus
- Effective coaching and facilitation skills to support leaders through change
