Role Overview:
As a Machine Operator , you’ll be part of a manufacturing team running and supporting production equipment safely and efficiently to produce packaging products that meet quality and customer specifications. Safety, teamwork, quality, and operational excellence are core parts of the job.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate production machinery such as printing presses, converting lines, or extrusion equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
Perform quality checks at required intervals, inspect finished products, and ensure they meet specifications.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic adjustments or repairs to reduce downtime.
Monitor production performance and report machine or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
Maintain work area cleanliness and general housekeeping duties in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Relieve other machines during breaks and assist teammates when needed.
Record production data and complete required paperwork accurately.
On occasion, perform other assigned manufacturing duties within the facility.
