Job Summary:
The Rebar Associate is responsible for assisting with the preparation, placement, and installation of reinforcing steel (rebar) used in concrete construction. This entry-level position supports skilled workers on job sites and requires physical labor, attention to safety, and the ability to follow instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting rebar and construction materials
- Measure, cut, bend, and tie rebar using hand tools and equipment
- Support the placement and securing of rebar according to project specifications and blueprints
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including staging materials
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform general labor duties as needed on construction sites
Qualifications:
