The Director of Warehouse Operations overseas our warehouse operations, including forecasting, demand planning and procurement, and inbound and outbound transactions, and carrier services, to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers. This role executes the strategy to expand and evolve warehouse operations function. This individual reports to the COO & CEO and works collaboratively with the executive team to develop and drive transformation initiatives to satisfy internal and external customers’ demands and provide innovative solutions.
Essential Functions·Develop and implement warehouse operations strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.
·Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics providers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
·Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
·Optimize transportation and distribution networks to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
·Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to warehouse operations and distribution operations.
·Deploy new processes, standards, and operational plans for the warehouse operations management function.
·Ensure all warehouse operations activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
·Ensure company and warehouse operations performance goals are achieved in a repeatable and sustainable process-driven way.
·Lead the warehouse operations function by developing and communicating a clear vision across functional teams and stakeholders to drive successful business processes and growth.
·Responsible for the performance and results of each diverse team within the warehouse operations function
·Provide strong leadership focusing on increasing distribution capacities while reducing costs and improving service.
·Lead and manage all transportation, warehousing, and distribution aspects across warehouse operations network.
· Responsible for achieving key business metrics: performance to financial budget/forecast, capital tied to inventory, inventory balance sheet, On-Time-In-Full, traditional planning, purchasing, distribution, and warehouse measures of effectiveness.
· Evaluate and implement new warehouse operations capabilities and tools.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
· Develop and manage warehouse operations performance metrics to monitor and improve performance.
· Assess the current and future warehouse operations landscape and business functionality to develop keen insights to identify areas for improvement.
· Implement best practices to support integrated business planning solutions.
·Develop and execute improvement plans to improve the work environment, employee hiring, employee development, and employee retention.
· Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Other Functions
- Ability to manage diverse simultaneous projects of varying complexities.

- Ensure positive, productive, proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operate as an administrator in multiple systems.
- Design and oversee processes to complete internal and external/3rd party audits.
- SOP design, writing, execution, and enforcement.
- Work with the executive team to assist with reporting functionality within ERP and WMS platforms.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously as lead project manager representing Pharmsource.
- Write the code, scripting, and workflows to assist all departments by increasing efficiency and adding automation.
- Train senior leadership and their staff in applicable pharmaceutical distribution areas, based on current business needs.
- Work directly with the CEO/owner, CSO, and HR to ensure that the vast array of business needs align as best as possible with our teams’ personal and professional objectives.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in warehouse operations management, business administration, or a related field, and master's degree is a plus.
- Ten or more years of warehouse operations management within the pharmaceutical industry with a track record of success in warehousing, logistics, sales, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in warehouse operations software and technologies.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing warehouse operations strategies that drive business results.
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Highly analytical with a track record of managing based on facts and data.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations logistics best practices and emerging trends.
- Ability to manage through complexity to identify solutions and deliver results.
- Have a CDR license and adhere to the strict business practices and ethical codes required to hold said license.
