What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at Express Care of Mississippi?
- Escort patients throughout the office as needed.
- Perform routine patient check-in procedures, including patient work-ups and new patient history.
- Prepare examination rooms to include cleaning and restocking of supplies.
- Handle phone messages for physicians and nurses and make calls to obtain information from hospitals, labs, other physician offices and ancillary departments for each patient’s medical record.
- Willingness to assist Providers, Nurses and Front Office Specialists as needed.
Qualifications * Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare related field
Limited X-Ray Machine Operator Permit for Mississippi, Preferred (Not Required).
- Excellent organizational skills; required.
- Working knowledge of basic computers and computer software; required.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
