We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Paint Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply primer and finishing touches using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools
- Perform auto body repairs such as dent removal, panel alignment, and welding to restore vehicle integrity
- Use buffing machines and polishing compounds to achieve a smooth, high-gloss finish on painted surfaces
- Conduct repairs as needed during the repaint process
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for auto estimating and quality assurance purposes
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including light mechanical repairs and detailing to ensure overall vehicle presentation
Experience
- Proven dealership or auto body shop experience working as an Auto Body Paint Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Skilled in auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying, buffing, and detailing for a professional finish
- Knowledge of auto body repair processes including welding, auto restoration, and auto glass installation
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and auto estimating software is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines
- Prior experience working with dealership standards or in a fast-paced automotive environment is highly desirable
- Auto Body Estimating: 1 years (Required)
Salary can be higher with more experience
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday
8:00am-5:00pm
(required to work one half-day Saturday per month)
