The Shift Lead /Server is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring excellent guest service, team productivity, food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies. This role serves as the Manager on Duty when senior leadership is not present and supports team members in maintaining high service and operational standards. This position is eligible for tips.
Education & Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a restaurant or a related field preferred.
• Prior restaurant, hospitality, or shift leadership experience preferred
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Cash handling and register balancing experience
• Ability to supervise and motivate employees in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Leadership & Team Supervision
• Lead front-of-house and/or back-of-house team members during assigned shifts
• Delegate daily tasks and ensure timely completion
• Provide coaching, direction, and support to team members
• Assist with onboarding and training of new hires
• Monitor employee performance and address concerns in real time

• Communicate shift notes, incidents, and updates to management
