COMP SERVER

As a Club Lounge Attendant at Sheraton Metairie, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional start to our guests' day by delivering a fresh, inviting breakfast experience. You will work independently to prepare, set up, and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness, food safety, and excellent customer service throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up the daily breakfast bar according to brand standards, including brewing coffee, setting out food and beverage items, and stocking necessary supplies.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including detailed cleaning of equipment and surfaces.


• Ensure food safety by properly handling and storing all food items, adhering to health and safety regulations.


• Monitor food inventory levels, restocking items as needed and communicating inventory needs to management.


• Interact with guests in a friendly, courteous manner, responding to questions and providing assistance to ensure a positive breakfast experience.


• Manage the breakfast area independently, maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming environment throughout service hours.


• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.


• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall hotel operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.


• Knowledge of food safety practices and commitment to maintaining high standards.


• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
