Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work):

GS-15: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes:
  • Experience planning, directing, and overseeing executive operations and administrative management activities, including executive scheduling, travel coordination, continuity of operations, and high-visibility support functions for senior leadership;
  • Experience providing strategic guidance and operational recommendations to executive leadership on sensitive or mission-critical issues, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, resolving complex administrative matters, implementing policies, procedures, and process improvements; AND
  • Experience supervising and leading staff performing executive support or operational functions, including assigning work, managing priorities, evaluating performance, and ensuring organizational goals and mission requirements are achieved.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-15 grade level.

Responsibilities:

The Office of Business Services advises the Chairman on his or her internal and external activities and strategy; plans his or her schedule, conducts interagency, stakeholder and business engagements on his or her behalf; and works with all Bank divisions to prepare briefing materials, among other duties.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Plans, directs, integrates, and oversees Front Office operations to ensure seamless execution of executive responsibilities in support of mission objectives and executive leadership requirements.
  • Directs and manages day-to-day Front Office operational functions, including executive scheduling support, travel coordination, secure visitor control, and continuity of operations during leadership transitions.
  • Provides senior leadership with strategic counsel on operational risks, trade-offs, and mission implications associated with executive travel, scheduling, and resource decisions.
  • Represents the interests of the President and Chairman in cross-agency forums, task forces, and coordination efforts related to executive operations and protocol.
  • Provides leadership and direction while carrying out the full range of administrative and human resources responsibilities associated with first-line supervision.
  • Oversees workforce planning, succession planning, and the effective utilization of personnel and resources to achieve mission requirements and enhance organizational performance.
  • Establishes and enforces Front Office operating procedures, internal controls, and service standards to support informed executive decision-making.
  • Oversees the preparation, quality control, and strategic alignment of sensitive executive communications, including briefing materials and decision memoranda, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and readiness for senior-level review.
