We are currently seeking a highly skilled Installation & Dismantle (I&D) Manager to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a senior-level role designed for professionals with deep knowledge of union labor rules, Las Vegas venues, and proven expertise in managing complex trade show floor operations under tight timelines.
Role Overview
The I&D Manager will oversee on-site booth installation and dismantle activities, manage labor crews, coordinate with contractors and venue services, and ensure seamless execution of large-scale trade show builds. This position requires hands-on leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot challenges in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise on-site labor crews during booth installation and dismantle.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and venue rules.
- Manage labor allocation, workflow, timecards, and performance documentation.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison for project managers, clients, and vendors.
- Coordinate with general contractors (Freeman, GES) and union labor teams.
- Oversee equipment usage (ladders, Genie lifts, tools) and ensure safe operations.
- Manage post-show teardown, packaging, and reporting of materials and assets.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in I&D management within the trade show industry.
- Strong knowledge of Las Vegas convention centers and union regulations (IATSE, Teamsters).
- Expertise in CAD drawings, booth specifications, and floor plan interpretation.
- Proven leadership in fast-paced, deadline-driven show floor environments.
- Ability to travel frequently and maintain hands-on oversight during events.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with exhibit house production cycles and warehousing.
- Familiarity with CAD software or rendering tools (a plus).
