Greetings from Exponents Insta USA IncJob Title : Show Site Supervisor / Field Service Manager Reports to : Operations Director / Director of Field Services Location : San Diego, CA ( Extensive Travel Required) Position Summary:The Show Site Supervisor / Field Service Manager is responsible for leading and managing the on-site installation and dismantling (I&D) activities for trade show exhibits. This role ensures that resources are effectively utilized, timelines are adhered to, and quality standards are maintained. The position requires close collaboration with project managers, operations, and logistics teams, and the ability to address any on-site challenges promptly and efficiently.This job description provides a general outline of the responsibilities required and may be modified as needed to meet changing business needs.Key Responsibilities:· Lead On-Site I&D Projects: Oversee the on-site installation and dismantling of trade show booths, ensuring all work is completed according to design specifications and within the project timeline.· Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with project managers, operations, and logistics teams to ensure that all booth elements are assembled correctly and efficiently.· Issue Resolution: Address any on-site issues (such as design changes, delays, or technical problems) promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline or budget.· Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors, general contractors, and show service providers to ensure a smooth setup and dismantling process.· Team Management: Manage, motivate, and supervise the on-site team, ensuring high performance, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety protocols.· Track Show Services & Crew Hours:** Keep accurate records of show services and hired crew time tickets, logging all relevant information in an organized and timely manner.· Project Closing Report: After each show, compile a detailed project closing report, including feedback on challenges, successes, and areas for improvement.· Customer Relations: Address client needs, last-minute changes, and on-site challenges, ensuring a positive customer experience and timely communication.· Miscellaneous Duties: Perform any additional duties or special projects as assigned. Qualifications:· Experience in trade show booth installation, construction management, or a related field service role.
