Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the prepress team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the preparation of files for digital and large-format printing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage and troubleshoot prepress software and equipment, including RIP software, color calibration tools, and proofing devices.
- Ensure proper color management and consistency across all print jobs.
- Maintain quality control standards, reviewing files for errors before they reach production.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to optimize workflows and ensure seamless file handoffs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance department efficiency and output.
- Implement and maintain prepress procedures to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment maintenance and supply orders.
- Enforce safety and compliance regulations within the prepress department.

- Experience in color calibration and ICC profiling.
- High school diploma or GED required; a degree in Graphic Arts, Printing Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime, as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
