Childcare center Site Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Childcare Center Site Supervisor/lead teacher to lead our early childhood education team with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations at our childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Your leadership will inspire staff, support families, and uphold the highest standards of childhood development and care. Duties

• Supervise daily activities within the childcare center, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols
• Lead and motivate a team of caregivers, teachers, and support staff to deliver high-quality care and educational experiences
• Oversee classroom management, ensuring age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development
• Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
• Support staff in implementing curriculum plans focused on childhood development, preschool education, infant care, toddler care, and special education needs
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on children’s progress and address concerns promptly
• Coordinate staff schedules, training sessions—including first aid certification—and performance evaluations to foster professional growth
• Manage enrollment processes, maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and developmental assessments

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities
• Strong classroom experience in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in caregiving and teaching strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly desirable
• Excellent classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment for children
• Strong communication skills for engaging with families, staff, and community partners
• Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• 3 infant units
• Director of site supervisor permit
• 3 years in working in a childcare center
