Counter Attendant – Park Cleaners (Augusta, ME) – Part-Time & Full-Time
Park Cleaners is opening a new pick-up and drop-off location in Augusta, ME, and we're looking for friendly, organized counter attendants to be the face of our shop! No dry cleaning experience needed — we'll train you on our systems. If you're outgoing, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping people, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do:
- Greet customers warmly and check in/check out garment orders
- Accurately tag, track, and organize incoming and outgoing orders
- Operate our point-of-sale system and handle cash/card payments
- Answer questions about services, pricing, and order status
- Keep the counter and front of store clean and organized
- Communicate with back-of-house staff to make sure orders are ready on time
What we're looking for:
- Outgoing, upbeat personality with strong customer service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented — able to keep orders straight during busy periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable with basic computer/POS use (we'll train you)
- Able to stand for a shift and lift up to 20 lbs (garment bags, boxes)
- Previous retail, restaurant, or customer service experience a plus, but not required
Schedule:
Both part-time and full-time shifts available. Flexible scheduling — great for students, or anyone looking for a first job or a reliable second job.
