Join our family-owned dental practice as an Orthodontic Front Desk and Financial Coordinator. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator that ensures smooth daily operations, exceptional customer service, and accurate financial management. Your enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for patients while managing appointments, billing, insurance and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process
- Manage phone systems with professionalism, providing clear information to each patient.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental practice management software, maintaining accurate calendar management
- Handle patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, insurance, and financial options with clarity and patience
- Process payments and insurance claims accurately
- Maintain an organized front and back office, correspondence, and billing documentation
- Support office management tasks such as data entry, proofreading documents, and managing office supplies to ensure seamless operations
- Assist in managing account duties including invoicing, tracking payments, tracking insurance claims and reconciling accounts
- Provide exceptional customer support by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office workflow while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide assistance in supporting the back-office staff as needed. This may include some sterilization and cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Outgoing, hardworking, independent, enthusiastic and organized personality
- Bilingual in Spanish and English are a requirement for this job
- Proven experience in front desk or dental/medical receptionist roles with strong clerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for document creation and communication
- Familiarity in working with dental insurance is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present and explain payment options to patients
- Comfortable discussing financial matters with patients in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Strong typing speed combined with attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication abilities
- Excellent hand writing
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
