Explore and Discover Center for Early Learning provides full-time and part-time child care, early childhood educational services, VPK, Day Camp and Afterschool Programs for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old.

We are seeking a floater/substitute teacher to join our growing team. Job applicants shall provide complete and accurate information about their education, training, experience, interests, capabilities, limitations, special skills and at least three outside references, preferably from former employers.
Floater/Substitute Teacher Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 45 Hour DCF Child Care Training Certification
Floater/Substitute Teacher Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Assist assigned teacher in any way possible including but not limited to:
- Prepare and set up activities.
- Implement portions of the daily program as directed by Lead Teacher.
- Assist in keeping the classroom, storage areas, and bathrooms clean, neat, orderly, and sanitized.
- Assist in completing daily sheets.
- Attend employee meetings.
- Be familiar with state regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
